I aim to use my powers for good. Also for evil on occasion. I am a witty, relatable, positive force. The Curious Clevers is my first novel.

Back when we used to leave the house, I spent many years as a feature film development executive, and have held positions at Sony Pictures Animation, Israeli studio Animation Lab, and Disney Feature Animation, where I developed early versions of movies such as Frozen, Tangled, and The Princess and the Frog, among others. Prior to my career in in animation, I worked at Dean Devlin's Electric Entertainment, and was a script reader and motion picture literary assistant at Creative Artists Agency. I have developed interactive games for Disney and television specials for The Muppets, and have been mistaken for a Muppet on several occasions.

As a mom, I’m often chasing my two boys, one of whom has multiple disabilities, including a rare genetic disorder. He gives me someone to write about, and his typical brother gives me someone to write for. Like The Curious Clevers, my stories have broad appeal and feature families like ours and people like my little guy who do not have the ability write their own stories. I currently serve on the Los Angeles Unified School District's Community Advisory Committee to address and improve special education across the country's second largest school district. I regularly support and advocate for diverse families of children with special needs dealing with educational, medical, and legal challenges. I was recently named "Best Mom Ever" by my two discerning children, and received a congratulatory mug.

Additionally, I am a cooking teacher, certified service dog handler, and once won a spelling bee with the word “pluviophile.” If the authorities are seeking me, they’d best scour Los Angeles and interrogate my dashing husband, pair of mischievous boys, trusty canine, and the thing that lurks beneath the bed.
